    (hereinafter referred to as KAVA Printing), founded in 1995, started from business cards to commercial printing, and then transformed and upgraded to the field of high-quality packaging, and now has built an intelligent factory, with ‘Asia One’ 9+2 online At present, it has built an intelligent factory with ‘Asia's No. 1’ 9+2 on-line cold foil printing machine, AGV robots for the whole process, and an intelligent warehouse with 6,000+ storage spaces. With its advanced intelligent layout thinking, it formally launched an intelligent digital factory in 2019, introducing concepts such as robotics, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things to reduce costs and increase efficiency, thus realising intelligent manufacturing. The factory covers an area of 13,000 square metres, with 8,000 square metres of newly-built modern standard workshops in Phase I and II.

  • Informatics Challenges

    1.Limited capability of ERP platform in printing industry: Cowan has used many sets of ERP in printing industry before and after, but there are a lot of problems in integrating with self-developed professional sub-systems, and the capability of personalised expansion is limited;

    2.Many professional sub-systems: PLM, self-developed WMS, self-developed MES, urgently need to be integrated;

    3.Printing industry goods master data and process management difficult;

    4.ODM industry rapid sampling, pricing and quotation support needs;

    5.Printing industry processes, indirect costs, fine production costing requirements.


  • Solutions

    1. Reshape the main business and financial processes and open up the key subsystems:

    (1) Interface through PLM (ESKO), self-developed WMS and self-developed MES;

    (2) In NetSuite to achieve the complete process from CRM to ERP, through the entire sampling, pricing, quotes, orders, work orders process;

    2.Complete master data management for ODM: custom-made assembly parts, EBOM&MBOM, process, process, process parts relationship, process corresponding to multiple components, process cost details;

    3.Support rapid price quotation: the quotation is directly associated with the finished product material and labour cost details, through the internal markup and approval, rapid issuance of quotations to customers;
